What Should be Done to Prepare the Face for Colors?

As you know you cannot escape from your clever cousins and mischievous relatives who can come anytime throwing colors on your face. It’s better if you prepare your face well before facing the color attack.

  • Apply a skin friendly and a little greasy moisturizer on to your face before going out for playing Holi.
  • Apply some coconut oil or a greasy moisturizer on to your entire body which is exposed.
  • If it’s a heavy sunlight out there do apply a little sunscreen having SPF 15 in it. 
  • The bath after Holi should be quite quick as it will decrease the tenure of chemicals staying on to your skin.

What Should be Done to Protect Hair?    

Hairs can incur a lot of damage if not protected at the time of Holi, follow the steps to make it safer-:

  • Apply coconut oil or mustard oil before going out and yes it should not be just a touch up apply it properly till roots.
  • Coconut oil is preferable because it achieves 90% of the hair penetration right through the cortex, thus forming a protective layer around your scalp.
  • Wear a big cotton hairband or a scarf on your head to protect further damages.
  • Wash your hair with plain water thoroughly as by doing this the maximum color can be removed.

What are the Stomach Problems which Generally Occur after Holi? 

Starting from Gujiya, kanji to the popular drink thandai, Holi brings a lot of foodies together!

You wish Holi once and your mouth will be popped in with some sweets immediately! 

The maximum we eat the more constipation, indigestion and stomach fullness start occurring. Here are some home remedies to treat you well-:

  • Drink some Luke warm water and walk for a little duration, this helps in regulating your digestion.
  • Take a big spoon add some salted javanee seed and squeeze half lemon into it, drink it quickly.
  • If you have some sweet soda at home, pour it in a glass and all some black salt, drink it quickly. 
  • Take some ginger or mint tea without milk, add lemon for making it better.
  • Take a glass full of lemon water with black salt.
